Happiness in little thingsRecently, I was besieged by an overwhelming longing for something I cannot put my finger on. I don’t even know if I am actually longing for that someone who put money over a relationship I thought would last until death do us part. I was restless. If a good book and a strong tea cannot heal it, I do not know what.
I went on the road, looking for it. No, I did not find what was ailing me. But I found something else…
The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.
Happiness in little things. The breeze from the open window of the car. Don’t you just find it relaxing to feel that cool breeze on your face? A baby’s smile is one of them. A car stopped beside mine and the baby smiled widely, reaching out her hand. It made my breath stop. That is God’s wonder, staring me right in the eye.
Little things matter. We just ignore it most of the time. Try to look at things you normally just pass by. It will make you happy, even in an odd sort of way.
Believe me.

Laptop protectionWhenever I go out of town or out of the country, I always bring my laptop with me. I do most of my stuff online: banking, shopping, communicating. So it is a must that most of my gadgets are mobile. But there is an issue of protection whenever you are on the road.
Alertsec Xpress laptop protection is one convenient, cost-effective and secure encryption for Windows 2000/XP/Vista that I found. It is a Check Point Managed Service. It offers hard disk encryption for security of your laptop and files within it. I suggest you try this one out. Especially to people like me who bring with them their laptops and are on the road most of the times.

Shirts for the groupBack in high school, I was part of a group called Psyche. We were a group of girls and one extra guy who are all tightly bonded by several skirmishes surpassed at school. We were a happy and loud group. It was so much fun!
On our third year in high school, it was announced that we would be having a retreat in Tagaytay. We thought that since the place is cold that time (it was January, if I’m not mistaken), it would be fun to pull our resources and buy custom-made letter jacket with our group name at the back and our first name’s initial at the front. And it was fun indeed! Other groups at school got envious. One group had t-shirts done for them.
A website offers the same custom-made apparel for everyone. CustomInk.com offers t-shirts and other apparel with custom-made designs and texts on it. They offer t-shirts, sweats, and a whole lot more. Inks used are of high quality. Designs can be chosen from them or you can upload your own design for them to print on the t-shirt or any of your choice.
So go check out the site now. You might be thinking of getting your shop’s crew a custom made uniform.

Lighting for your home
Do you need to light up your home? You can find lighting fixtures, lights, lamps and outdoor lighting in a wide range of styles and at the lowest prices at Farrey’s.
Farrey’s offers tens of thousands of lighting products! I browsed their selection a while ago and here are my favorites…
The Moonlit Patina from the Fine Art Lamps collection is a really good find. I imagined this lamp in a corner of our home where everyone can see and comment on it. This one can be a good topic of discussion, don’t you think?
The java wall lamp is a part of the Forecast Lighting collection. This is a handcrafted chocolate on amber glass. Cool! I can see this one going inside my bedroom.
The 3 Light Arch Bath Vanity Strip is also from the Forecast Lighting collection. This will be a very good gift for my friend, Tim.
They have a lot more to offer and all you need to do is search for a specific lighting brand or by lighting application or style through their product search tool.Farrey’s offers superior service, a 30-day return policy, fast shipping, safe shopping promise and offers volume discounts as well.So check out Farrey’s.com for your lighting needs.

On the road: Children’s theatre at Edinburgh
I am a fan of theatre. I love watching plays live, simply because it is always a delight to hear other people’s reactions. I have seen a lot of plays already and more than half of it are actually great. That has been the only leisure activity I indulge in when I was on the road for weeks. Fortunately, even though I missed going to Edinburgh, there is a play intended for next year that I will surely want to see. The Children’s International Theatre Festival to be held on 27 May to 2 June 2008 is something that I would really love to witness first hand.
It will span over seven days, in five venues across Edinburgh, the Children’s International Theatre Festival offers the chance to see award-winning productions from all over the world. If it will run for seven days, you will need to find an Accomodation in Edinburgh then. And if it is Hotels in Edinburgh that you are looking for, there is none other than Cheaperthanhotels that you can go to. My friends are actually using this site and have recommended to me but when I was on the road, I stopped by friends’ and relatives’ houses and imposed upon their generosity.
But if you are going to Edinburgh for a business or leisure trip, then find Cheap Hotels in Edinburgh at Cheaperthanhotels. I will definitely book a room come May 2008 for that Children’s Festival. See you in Edinburgh!
