Planning a honeymoon abroad can be a headache. There are so many decisions to be made, not the least of which is where to go. Whatever your priorities — rest and rejuvenation, sightseeing, adventure — there’s a destination that fits the bill. Here are a few of our favorite (and not your typical) romance-ready spots around the globe.

France: Loire Valley Love-In

Loire Valley Love-InSample Itinerary (Bordeaux, Dordogne and Perigord)

Start in France’s Loire Valley, where you can spend several days oooohing and aahhhhing over the region’s glamorous chateaux, including Chambord and Chenonceau. Move on to Bordeaux; St-Émilion is everything you’d want a wine town to be, with ramparts and medieval streets, and plenty of vin. Finally, savor the culinary specialties of Dordogne and Perigord. Lunch on the sky-high dining terrace of Rocamadour’s Chateau de la Treyne is unforgettable.

Check-in for Romance: Chateau de Noizay, Le Moulin de l’Abbaye, L’Hostellerie de Plaisance

Honeymoon Highlight: A walk through the narrow streets of the village of Brantome followed by a picnic on the banks of the River Dronne.

Well, I happen to chance upon Hands on Tools, a website that offers different tool storages. It has tool boxes, tool carts, organizers/holders and portable tool boxes. I think I will get a portable tool box for my dad.

If you are also looking for a tool storage you can give your dad, or maybe just something you can use to organize tools lying around the house, go and get one from Hands on Tools now.

How about you, what will you get your dad for this Christmas?

I am going crazy with my Christmas shopping. Can you imagine how many days left it is until Christmas? A little over 30 days! I haven’t finished my Christmas list yet and it seems getting longer and longer each day.

I will get a pearl necklace for my maternal grandma. She will love it! It will surely go well with a dress we gave her a few months back that she hasn’t used yet.

How about you, what are you getting your grandma for Christmas?

A gift for my uncle

I am not yet complete with my Christmas shopping yet. There are still a few people left on my list that I haven’t got anything for. One of these people is my uncle. He loves tinkering with things and traveling when able. So I thinking of getting him a safety utility knife for Christmas. This will surely be of great use to him. So I will get one at Martorusa.com and give to him on Christmas.

That is one more gift out of the way.

If you also want to give a safety utility knife to someone, go and check out Martorusa.com now.

Getting fit

It’s hard to push yourself to go to the gym regularly to exercise. Especially for a person like me who goes into ‘hybernate’ mode when inside the room already. After a hard day’s work, it feels good to just go to bed and relax.

But being healthy should be my number one priority now. I am getting bigger and bigger and becoming more lazier to exercise by the minute. My sister is actually pushing, nay nagging, me to get my butt off my swivel chair and burn some calories.

So I thought, okay, I will get some fitness equipment at home so that I can exercise when I feel like it. There is no need for me to go out of the house and go to the gym. NordicTrack.com offers fitness equipment for personal and commercial use. I suggest you also check it out.

An accessory to your tv

I am sure almost each house has a television. At home, we have two television sets, one for the living room and one for our bedroom. The one in the living room has a tv rack where we can put it. The one in the bedroom has a makeshift table where we put it onto. I am actually thinking of getting a tv mount for it. One that I saw at Stands and Mounts.

It will help protect our tv and put it in a good position. If you don’t have one, go and check out Stands and Mounts now.

Staying sober

Our neighbors love drinking. With or without an occasion, they drink regardless of the time of the day. I notice that because I can see them from our veranda. And sometimes, they even open their garage where they hold impromptu drinking sessions.

I know that when a doctor checks them up, they will know that they are already alcoholics. Because they cannot survive a day without a drop of alcohol in their body. There are alcohol rehabs like Drug Rehab Sunset Malibu where people like them can check themselves into should they want to stay sober and clean.

Somebody should tell them about it.
