When it comes to indoor lighting, our family, most especially my dad, is very particular. He does not like dim lights. But lights that are too bright are also stricken out from his list. He wants lights that are just the right brightness. Most of our lights at home were specially made for us. We ordered it from a well known lighting manufacturer. What my dad wants, if we can pull it off, he gets.

I was so angry at my friend’s ex-boyfriend. He left her for someone else. She is still hurting, even after a year. I saw her holding these baseball gloves that he gave her. He is a baseball player and the first time his won when they were a couple already, he gave her the gloves that he used as a symbol of his love for her. What a jerk! Now, my friend is hurting so badly because they were already planning a wedding when he called off everything.
My cousin talked to me about something last night. Plus, he already told me what he wants as a Christmas gift. Dansko shoes and this Timex watch that he saw. Of all my cousins, he is the closest to me. That is why he is confident I will give him what he wants. Well, we made a deal. If he will show me high grades by November, I will give him what he wants.
I am quite affected by the recent news surrounding the financial crisis in the US. I am always looking at online trading, checking on things. I am a person wishing to invest if I only have enough money to do so. I have some but not enough to cause alarm when the market index plummets. But still, it is my savings and I have a mind to pull it out now with all this things happening around.
Dad is so busy with so many things. He is renovating the garage himself. I told him that we could just pay someone to do it but he wants to do it himself, saying that he has nothing to do in the morning anyway. He is also running an errand for his older brother. He is looking for a spray booth. And then, he is also into gardening in the afternoon. My dad is such a hardworking man. He cannot abide a day without working.
Little Maddie loves english saddles so much. She loves to go on a horseback ride with her father and she could go on and on about it. I once visited them in the country and I was regaled with the stories about Maddie’s prowess with horseback riding.
When I was a little kid, I also fancy myself good with horses. But when I fell off my horse a few times, once breaking a bone, I think that did it. I am now content watching others ride.
When my uncle was accused of impregnating a woman he barely knew, he immediately asked my other uncles and my dad to help him out. He was being pinned for something he didn’t do. DNA testing was the solution they came up with. They waited until the woman gave birth and they had the baby tested. The whole time the woman was pregnant, she maintained her claim that my uncle was the father. When the DNA result came out, my uncle was “acquitted” of the accusations. He was not the father. It turned out that the woman was pregnant by another man. Sigh.
My friend will be going back to work after giving birth last July to a healthy baby girl. She still has the weight that she put on while pregnant. It actually looks good on her but it makes her a bit sluggish since she’s not used to being that heavy. She is on a diet program right now and her impatience is making her think of buying diet pills to help her lose weight faster. When I saw her a few weeks ago, I told her that she’s on the right track. She will eventually lose the pounds she gained while pregnant and will be back to her ideal weight in no time at all.
