WW#5: Bright kitchen
World all my own

When you live in the city, space is costly. So I am always on the lookout for great space saver ideas.
How about this office pod, then?
Don’t you just love to have a world all your own where you can work all you want and not be disturbed by anybody yet still be at home?
I want one for me!
Happy Monday everyone!
Gift giving
I think I will just buy dog ramps for two cousins celebrating their birthdays soon. Both have puppies of their own and I know they will appreciate anything for their pups more than any other gift.
I am bad in giving gifts. I admit that. So I always make sure to check what the person is into so I would know what to buy. Mostly, anything that I know the person will appreciate and that can be used daily.
Working on rest days

Being an accountant has it’s disadvantages. Especially when your family volunteers your services to relatives and friends. In my situation, instead of resting during my off days, I am doing pro bono consultancy for some of our relatives. Either they would call me up or come over for a visit. And of course, it would take hours to explain things to them, consult a colleague if the problem is not my area and so on. My rest day becomes a work day when all I spew about is accounting.
I am not complaining, hey. It’s just that there are days when I am really, really tired and would want to catch up on sleep.
Pockets won't say ouch!

I’ve seen Zenni Optical on TV!!! Yes, that web site where you can find stylish and quality made $ 8 Rx eyeglasses.
A lot of little kids these days are wearing prescription eyeglasses. My 6-year-old cousin wears one. He’s changed glasses twice already, only this year. Because he lost both pairs. Luckily, Zenni Optical offers very affordable eyeglasses. Now, changing pairs won’t make parents’ pockets say ouch.
High Five to Zenni Optical for that!
Go ahead and visit ZenniOptical.com now for your stylish and affordable kids’ prescription eyeglasses.
Cozy and comfy

I live in the city all my life. So I am aware of the fact that when you want bigger space here, you’d have to shell out more money. But I am not the type of person who likes to have a huge house. I am more the cozy, comfy type of person. I love the salon (photo) above. It looks so cozy to me. Yes, it’s small, but then I don’t entertain too many guests at any given time. I prefer intimate gatherings.
Plus, as you can see in the photo, I can even put a treadmill or elliptical (as in the photo) in the corner near the window…
That salon is perfect for me! I am keeping a copy of that photo and will be showing my contractor for the new home I am planning to get by next year.
Better than cure
Living in the city can have its advantages and disadvantages. Sometimes both in a given situation. Like having too many choices in places to eat. Since there are so many restaurants popping up every now and then, and we are foodies at home, it is inevitable to try it out sometime. And this will lead to more than usual amount of food intake for us. I am reading colon cleanse reviews so that we can avail of it. You know, just to make sure that even though we eat a lot, our colon is safe from the bad effects of some food we eat.
I’m afraid of getting sick. Thus, prevention is better than cure for me.
Too much information
There’s this blog that I visit from time to time. The blog author shares everything (read: every little thing!) about her life. Work, relationships, every thing. Even her sex life with her past exes and her husband!
I just have to admire the guts of some bloggers who post their photos and then proceed to talk about personal matters. TMI. Too much information, if you ask me. I love reading about her struggle in life and how she finds ways to overcome it. But the sex life and the cheating…
How do you draw the line about what to share and what’s not in a personal blog? Sure, it’s yours. You can do what you can with it. All I can do is hit the close button and I won’t be assailed by it. But then I am curious about how people regard these things.
Have you encountered this kind of blog? To tell the truth, the blog I am talking about feeds the voyeur in every one of her visitors. It’s like peeking in her house and seeing her do personal stuff. Do you feel that way with the blogs you visit? I am curious. Let me know.
City temptations
There are so many temptations when you live in the city. I am talking about food. There are just too many good restaurants you would want to keep coming back to again and again. There are so many new ones popping up every now and then, new ones you would want to try out. Just imagine what these restos do to my expanding waisteline. Disaster! Thank goodness for effective weight loss supplements. If not for these, I believe my weight would have gone to the roof!
Off I go…

This big city girl will be off for some overnight R&R. I do believe I deserve it
Happy Sunday everyone!
