I am amazed at those celebrities doing their own relief operations for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy. Angel Locsin is one of those continuously distributing relief goods to the victims. She was silently doing this and was only caught on camera because of her home studio, ABS-CBN.
They could have stayed at home where they are comfortable and safe. But they opted to go out and reach out to these people. We must keep in mind that these places are still submerged in flood water. Some in thick mud. These celebrities forgot their status and really wallowed, literally and figuratively.
Let’s applaud these silent heroes and pray for everyone affected.
