I still feel like a treadmill is the best for me…

I checked out a local gym that offers a buy one month, get one month promo. It is a great deal because when you compute the costs, it will really give you a gym membership for a cheap price. But it got me thinking. With the schedule I am keeping, I don’t know if I can commit to go to the gym regularly. There will come a time when I would need to beg off because I might need to attend to something more important like work.

So it’s a toss up between a low-cost gym membership that I might not be able to use fully or a treadmill that will surely be used daily because it is inside the house. Hmm…

I am hooked to a Celebrity Blog. I read a lot of blogs but the ones that wake me up while working in the middle of the night is a celebrity blog that’s full of the current news on my favorite celebrities. If there something on Robert Pattinson, George Clooney, and Johnny Depp? Yes? Then I will come visit the blog right away! Actually, I do visit frequently. When I am working in the middle of the night and I can already feel the pull of my bed, I would open the celebrity blog and read. After finishing all the freshest news, I would let the site stay open and would refresh it after 15 minutes or so. I am that hooked!

You might be asking, what’s the pull? Well, a celebrity blog is as closest as I can get to my favorite celebrities. I can’t see them personally. I live far away from Hollywood. And even if I can see them, I can only gaze at them from afar. It’s doubtful I can be friends with any one of my favorite celebrities. So the only way I can part of their lives is by reading about them. And it’s through a celebrity blog that dishes out news about them in a really fun way. A blog is an informal way to give out information. Unlike a news site that has a serious feel to it, a celebrity blog is more fun to read and there’s just too many things you can learn when you frequently visit one.

Of course, be discerning. Not all news about our favorite celebrities are true. Find a blog that you know is dishing out only the real news. And then come back regularly to read and interact with other visitors of the blog through the comments section. I do that and more!

If you have been reading this blog, you know that I am a big city girl. But this big city girl is also longing for some time away from the city. There are days when I feel like going somewhere, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Like the place in the photo. I want to be in a house with a veranda overlooking the sea. That would be really cool! Or a house near the beach where you can go out and walk on the sand.

Wishful thinking for now as I don’t have the budget to go outside the city.

When the doorbell rang, I already know who it was. Someone I am dreading from my past. A person who broke my tender heart. I thought I got rid of him altogether but I saw him at the mall and he wants to be friends. I don’t know how to say NO so I just shrugged my shoulders and nodded to his request for a visit to my place.

It is firm in my mind that a repeat of the past will never happen. When he entered my place, I knew how strong my resolve is. There’s no more sparks that flew in the past between us. Not, there’s nothing. I have finally moved on.

I told my cousin to stop being choosy. There are jobs in sales that she can try out. She lost her job last month but she’s been dilly-dallying about finding a new job. She needs to find one as soon as possible because she’s sending a younger sibling to school. Where will she get the funds to support her sibling if she’s out of a job?

Hopefully, she will find one soon. One that will give her a better compensation package than the last one she got.

With all the sleepless nights I experienced, I think the best vitamin supplement is what my body needs. I have a nine to five job and I also work at home. I write on the side. Writing takes up a chunk of my time at night and there are days when my mind still churns at four in the morning. I need to wake up at five to get to work by seven. So instead of going to sleep, I just stay awake and prepare for work earlier than usual.

It’s a bad lifestyle, I know. One I am hoping to change soon.

There are diets that work. There are those that not. We should all know that. What I also want to say is that a diet that worked for you may not altogether work for me. You might have something in you that I don’t have and that makes the whole difference.

Or you might be living in a place in the city that doesn’t have this much temptation as I have from where I live.

A store near the building where I am working at is selling hair loss products for men. I can see it from my office window. I noticed that more and more younger men are frequenting the place. It just goes to show that the problem of hair loss is not specific to older men only.

A co-worker is still in denial that he already needs a hair loss product. He claims that he’s still too young to be suffering from hair loss. But one look at him and you’d know right away that he has problems, indeed.

I may not be too much into fitness but I make sure that my protein intake is right. I get my protein from my food intake. It’s enough I think. But if the doctor tells me that I need supplements, then I will take it.

I am surrounded by men who are in love with their cars and would blow their paychecks in getting car accessories. My cousin just bought car grills and he looked like he got the best deal.
