The Daily Grind

I swear, you need a cell phone signal booster when you are in our province! It’s so hard to send a text message or even make a phone call. I know that it’s the problem with cell sites but then I do believe that there’s something that the telcos can do about it.

We’re planning on a 3-day stay in the province within the month. I do hope that there’s an improvement already.

When I was a little kid, my mom hired a piano teacher to teach me how to play the piano. I would go to my cousins’ house to meet my teacher there who was also their teacher. We didn’t have a piano at home so I had to share one with my cousins.

Back in those days, a piano at home was a status symbol. It meant that you are a rich family. I knew my mom was secretly dreaming of having one at home, too. But we couldn’t afford it so we had to content ourselves with the one at the cousin’s place.

Now that I can afford to buy a piano, my mom’s not here anymore. It just saddens me when I see something and it reminds me that my mom used to dream of that but I couldn’t buy her one.

If you’ve been reading my blog regularly, you know I am in love with lovely interiors. I saw this display of modern sofas in my favorite hangout and there was one unbelievable interior that I would want to imitate in my friend’s condo. She is asking my help to rearrange her living room and I feel like it would work for her place.

Can’t wait to try it out!

I accompanied my friend around the metro looking for a shop that repairs an epson receipt printer. It was so hot outside but since I hardly see this friend of mine, I went with her anyway. I would have opted to stay at home and wait for the sun to go down but finding an open repair shop was imperative.

We actually ended up buying a new one since there’s we found no repair shop for it. In between finding shops, we had the chance to catch up on the happenings in each others’ lives.
