The Daily Grind

There was a group of teens wearing hip hop clothes that frequently go to an ice cream shop nearby. They were a noisy bunch of teens who obviously loved to have fun. The older people in the area would grow weary seeing them. They thought the teens, seeing as their attire and the way they act, would bring trouble so they would stay away from the shop and would just go near it when the teens were gone already.

Years after, those bunch of hip hop-wearing teens graduated in different colleges. Top of their classes! They are still friends and are now creating names for themselves in the fields of expertise they chose.

Who would have thought?

I am organizing my files. I want to make copies of original certificates I have and some of the important documents as well. I also want to organize the photos in the old albums. A friend told me to get a scanning software so that I can scan original certificates and documents. It will be my backup copy. It can also serve as an easy for me to make copies of the files I’ll scan.

I like the idea of scanning old photos. We have old family photos with specks of white already, possibly due to moist or humidity. I will scan all of it and preserve what needs to be preserved.

Genie is given a task by the head of the company she’s working for… she needs to evaluate the reporting system in the company! She has to make sure that all the reports being produced are working towards the goal of telling the state of the company not only with regards to the financial part but also in all aspects of the company state.

She also has to check and test out the inetsoft performance management software that the company wants to acquire.

It’s a big responsibility and one that Genie is so excited to be doing.

Maya has a lot of design files in her two laptops. She always brings one with her wherever she goes. Her clients’ files are there so she needs it most especially when meeting a client.

But she’s worried about her files. Her laptops could crash anytime so she is looking at getting a data backup solution. She wants to make sure that all her files are intact and that should an eventual hard drive crash happens, she won’t panic because she has a backup ready to be used to replace the old files.

Kerry is a new mom. I know how she, her husband and everyone around her are so excited with the birth of her first born baby! There’s a new mother gift basket from her in-laws waiting for her in her room at the hospital after she’s given birth. There were flowers and cards and so much stuff for her and for the newborn baby!

Kerry knows why everyone are as excited as she and her husband. Their newborn is the first baby on both sides of the family. Kerry and her husband are only child of their parents. Can you imagine how much excitement a new addition to the family gave them?

Annie has to find a second job. She is sending her eldest son to a special summer camp and she needs funds to finance it. She is partial to sales jobs. She actually wants a commission on top of the basic salary. Just to add up on her monthly income.

Annie wants her kids to have everything that she never had when she was their age. She wants them to have a bright future ahead. So whatever she has to do for them, she’ll do wholeheartedly and to the best she can.
