A woman of all trades
July 22nd, 2008 @ 1:08 am

Working at home has many advantages. Aside from the fact that expenses are at a minimum, you can also add more jobs as long as you can still handle it. That’s what my sister is doing at the moment. She’s dabbling at a couple of things aside from her consultancy work. She now helps her clients get promotional products as well. She also helps them formulate marketing strategies based on information the company provides her. She writes a book, do reviews and help students with their feasibility studies. Now that’s an enterprising person!

The gall!
July 11th, 2008 @ 12:43 am

Friends and relatives always go to me when they need something to be researched about. I am accommodating but there are days when I am swamped with work and doing a favor for anyone is out of the question. A friend of mine went to our house last weekend, asking for help with regards to a research done on Orovo detox. Normally, I would have said yes right away. She knows that. But since I am literally neck-deep in pending tasks, doing the research will drown me completely. I told her the truth and promised her my help in other future researches. She had the gall to get angry with me! I just ignored her and I hope that the next time we see each other, she’ll have the grace to apologize to me.

Hard work
June 30th, 2008 @ 2:55 am

I work hard. I make sure that I give the best performance in the office. I love my work and I don’t believe in mediocre performance so I make sure that efficiently I do my job. If it means doing overtime work, then so be it. If it means going on days when it should have been my rest day, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I will be able to contribute for the good of the company. Anyway, I am being compensated for it. Plus everything I need, a laptop, office supplies and other little perks are given to me. So in return, I give the company my best.

Getting help
May 1st, 2008 @ 6:39 am

There is nothing more weird than a big telecoms company that has no IT department of its own.

The company I was with a couple of months back had no IT department. Weird because the company deals with telecommunications. They are just outsourcing it a company that gives a mediocre performance at best. Just imagine this, a simple problem with the wifi in the office took them about a day and a half to be remedied. Had I not been taking care of some very important matters that time, I would have done it myself. That’s how mediocre their performance was. Mediocre is even a very kind word to describe them.

I asked my boss if he might be willing to just hire an internal IT team to take care of the company’s IT needs. But he does not want an internal IT team. I believe with his long and winding explanation he is just telling me that an internal IT team will jeopardize the integrity of our system.

I guess a New York IT Outsourcing will be the best solution to this dilemma we had. ICorps is a company who is offering IT services to all companies out there. They can handle a company’s various IT needs, the same ones performed by the mediocre IT company to us.

I will tell my boss out ICorps.com. You should check them out as well. Your company might be needing their services anytime soon.

Work demands
April 9th, 2008 @ 6:21 am

Because his work demands that he relocate to Boston, Lem is now packing his things and is ready to take on the challenge of a new work environment. He is quite excited and is already thinking of things that he can do and contribute to the new office. He is actually tasked by his boss to head the finance team of the Boston branch which is a big challenge for Lem. It will be all cool.

Now, knowing Lem, he has a lot of possessions. And he really needs help because I know he will be bringing everything he has. He told me that he found Humboldt.com, a Boston Moving Company that can help make his move a smooth one. No need for him to worry that he will be having a hard time bringing his possessions with him. All he needs to do is contact Humboldt, arrange everything with them, and they will be there for the big move. No need to worry about losing a possession or two. Humboldt is a reputable moving company and they will not tarnish their company name just for a thing they are moving. Their people are all professionals who can help you in any way they can.

If you also need their services, just go to Humboldt.com now.

Handling important items
February 5th, 2008 @ 1:05 am

Every little thing inside our home has a value for my mom. It can be jewelries, both new and old passed on from generation to generation. It can be her paintings, some given to her by friends, mostly she bought abroad. It can be her what-nots, most have sentimental value more than financial ones. Whichever way, my mom does not want to just leave it at home when we go to Hawaii by next month. The whole family will go and visit some relatives there and of course get to enjoy some sun and beaches. It will be so much fun because it’s been almost two years now since we last saw our relatives there. And of course, my mom does not want to be a kill joy and worry about her priceless pieces while everyone is out to enjoy the vacation.

I suggested a Fine Art Storage for her to put her valuable fine art pieces. She said that it is a good idea except she is worried about moving her paintings from home to the storage place. I told her that moving fine art pieces is also being offered by Imagine Minds Eye, the company behind these services. Now she is convinced for than anything.

What do you think?
