Fantastic rooms!

I have never been to a las vegas hotel but I know it is luxurious. I have seen enough to know how one looks like. It would be pretty cool to book a room and stay even overnight, don’t you think? The Bellagio would be fantastic, I just know it! Well, if ever I have the money and I would be given a chance to travel to Las Vegas one of these days, I would stay at one of their 5-star hotels for sure.

I love Las Vegas! It is a city that is bright and colorful and seemingly, always wide awake. Which is what I love when we have our Vegas vacations. It is something I look forward to. My uncles and aunts also love going there so normally we go to Las Vegas together.

This year, we haven’t gone on a trip to Vegas yet. But I heard the elders talking last weekend that we might go this October. Viva Las Vegas! I can’t wait!

Feeling neglected

For the past eight months, I have been working nonstop. There’s an ongoing monster project in our office and I am one of those heading it. Naturally, I am aiming for a 200% performance. I don’t do things half heartedly. I am never known for mediocre performance. And because of this, my best friend is feeling neglected. We take trips once a month, going to a place we have never been to. It is a pact that we made in high school, until one of us gets married. Since we are both still single, we are keeping our promise to each other. But lately, she hardly speaks to me. She told me that she only wanted to give me some space so I can concentrate on work but I know that she’s feeling neglected already. I am thinking of searching for cruise deals so we can take one by next month, after the monster project wraps up. I just wish she’ll stretch her patience some more.

US trip

My cousin and his girlfriend will be traveling to Los Angeles, California in a few weeks. They will be staying there to visit his girlfriend’s relatives in the area. They will also be going to nearby San Francisco and Miami. And then they’ll be off to New York to visit the girl’s mom. I learned of this when I saw him searching for Cheap Los Angeles Hotels and Cheap Miami Hotels. He wants to save money on accommodations because his girlfriend will surely go shopping and he wants to be prepared for it.

They will be visiting the relatives to announce that they are planning to get married by October this year. They’ve been together for four years now and have been living in for two years already. We all feel that they are really headed this way. The girl is good with my cousin and both are responsible enough to start their own family now. Cheap San Francisco Hotels will never be a problem for the two because in SanFo they will be staying with an aunt. The NY trip will not be a problem as well because they will be staying with the girl’s mom.

An Aussie adventure

An old college buddy of mine got married this year and moved to Australia to start a life there. Since this will be one of those trips that might never happen again or if so, will count years before it can be repeated, we are taking advantage of being in Australia. We will be touring Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth as well. A vacation in Tuscany

I have stopped traveling for a couple of months now. I am saving for a big change in my life so most travel plans are scrapped for the moment. But when I saw the Villa vacation rentals apartments in Tuscany, I think I will be making an exception to this. I love Italy! That is the one place on this planet that I will not tire of seeing. I still have a lot of places to cover and Tuscany is one of them.

Le Torri Villa, found at LeTorri.com online, is a 13th century Tuscan farmhouse that is administrated by the owner-family. It is a gorgeous medieval villa that is entirely made of stone. The Villa is subdivided in 9 units - 5 two-room for 2 people and 4 three-room for 4 people units. I would love to be able to stay in this villa with its terracotta flooring, exposed oak beams and stylish rustic furniture. I have seen the web site and I must say that the villa is very charming indeed. It has its own character entirely its own, so to speak.

I am thinking of traveling there after the busy season here in the office. It will be the best place I can stay at for sure.

A view of Toronto

Visiting the relatives

The family is planning a grand vacation in Canada. This is also a way to visit a bunch of our relatives who migrated to that beautiful country. The last time we were supposed to go there was a 1999 family reunion. But the reunion was held in San Diego instead. In our family, majority wins. So each year, we take a poll among family members and would pick the place that the majority voted for. Since most of our relatives live in the California area and in Nevada, those two places always get the most vote.

So the family is thinking that we will visit the relatives there ourselves, even without a reunion scheduled. Most of them are inviting us to stay at their homes. But my dad is adamant that we not impose on the hospitality being shown to us. He hates intruding in peoples lives, which is the right thing, I believe.
