Parties for relatives
I am not exactly sure why but most of us in the family are having our birthdays by the second half of the year. At least five cousins are even having it by September. So you can just imagine the amount of parties, albeit simple dinners or brunches usually, we attend. I am even asked to help in most occasions. I love being a part of these parties because I am close to most of my relatives. I love the camaraderie that we share. And there is a part of me that is hoping our closeness, bonding will not change over time. It is good to have your favorite persons in the world to be near you, especially in times when you need their support the most.
So being asked to help prepare for the parties thrills me. I would gladly drop whatever I am doing to help.
