Planning a theme party?
I have mentioned in my previous post that I am asked to help organize parties of relatives whose birthdays are coming up. One of these particular relatives is a spinster cousin who will be turning 35 this coming October. She wants to celebrate her birthday in style so I believe she will be having a theme party.
You know, with all the brouhaha surrounding the Sex and the City movie, and she is a huge fan of Sarah Jessica Parker, she wants a Sex and the City theme party! Not very original, I know. I was able to attend the same theme party a couple of years ago, when the tv show was still running and a major hit. It was a great party that is flamboyant but chic! I can still remember the party favors given… a pair thongs! I tell you, I still have those thongs with me. It was a Victoria’s Secret special that the party planner ordered months in advance. Plus the food and drinks were overflowing. The party was lively, no dull moment for every person in attendance.
